Chewing

The clouds have never seen an endless rain

But inside my eyes an unforgiven way

Was lip splitting, thundering on a vast terrain

And it crashed into something I considered a bane

Into the life of the very, very insane

Crafting the words of paper enough

So my lips chewed through and through

Until the soft, bloody gaze, of the others grew

And only the rain, endless, washed it away

And I’m afraid the only things that exists

Is yet another shallow day
