The Never Embrace

Wandering eyes over our thighs

In the past of our desperate sighs

Never embraced in the fullest sense

Only seen through cold plastic lens

We look for an eye to give us peace

Over the land and the great blue seas

Sad and lonely and holding hope

An embrace that gives us some kind of scope

Forget me not forget you never

Never forget this lonely endeavor

For in the past there is something we seek

Something of which we can never speak
